Classics II: Voices of Nature
February 28, 2027
The natural world comes alive in sound with the YOSA Philharmonic and San Antonio Mastersingers. Featuring Gabriela Ortiz's Kauyumari, Borodin's Polovtsian Dances, the world premiere of a new choral-orchestral work by YOSA Music Director Troy Peters, and a performance by the 2026/27 YOSA Concerto Competition winner, this inspiring program celebrates the power and beauty of nature through music, with an appearance by YOSA Concertino Strings.

Celebrate the YOSA Philharmonic’s 50th Anniversary Season (2026/27) with a dynamic lineup of performances, featuring alumni appearances, powerful world premieres, holiday favorites, and choral collaborations, alongside a nostalgic trip back to 1977 and a landmark anniversary finale. This season brings together five Classics and Pops concerts, showcasing the artistry of San Antonio’s next generation of musicians in one extraordinary milestone season.
