YOSA is here to support all San Antonio and surrounding area music educators and their students with free resources, exciting opportunities, and world-class musical experiences. From complimentary clinics and music library access to performance opportunities at the Tobin Center and visits from renowned guest artists, we’re committed to enriching music education in San Antonio. YOSA 2026 Invitational

A free festival of San Antonio-area middle and high school bands and orchestras. Applications are now open for 2026!

The 2026 YOSA Invitational gives local school bands and orchestras the chance to record and perform in the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts’ renowned H-E-B Performance Hall, San Antonio’s premier concert venue, free of charge to all participating ensembles.

    Complimentary Tickets

    Experience YOSA performances with complimentary tickets for TMEA members. All music educators in San Antonio are eligible to get free tickets to any YOSA concert.

    Loans from the YOSA Library

    Educators can access YOSA’s extensive music library, including string, full orchestra, band, and chamber pieces. Contact us for a catalog—if we have what you need, we’ll provide it free of charge!

    YOSA is happy to provide you with educational materials that meet state standards to use in class before and after attending a YOSA Concert.

YOSA celebrates excellence in music education with our annual award recognizing outstanding teachers.

Every year in May, YOSA celebrates a music educator in the San Antonio area whose contributions to fine arts have benefited young musicians in the community.
