Expand Possibilities Through Music
Every two years, YOSA musicians have the opportunity to take their music beyond San Antonio and onto the world stage.
YOSA international tours are week-long experiences that combine music, travel, culture, and connection. Musicians rehearse and perform in beautiful and famous venues around the world while also having time to explore, experience new places, and make memories with their YOSA community.
YOSA Philharmonic musicians have the first opportunity to participate in each international tour. After the Philharmonic roster is established, invitations may be extended to musicians in YOSA Wind Ensemble and YOSA Symphony, based on the instrumentation needed for that particular tour.
It’s more than a trip. It’s an opportunity to see where music can take you.
Perform
Play multiple concerts in venues around the destination.
Rehearse
Prepare together for performances throughout the trip.
Explore
Visit landmarks, cities, cultural sites, and other destinations along the way.
Experience
Try new things, experience another culture, and see the world through music.
Connect
Travel with fellow YOSA musicians and create memories that last long after the tour ends.
Where Will Music Take Us Next?
The destination for YOSA’s 2028 international tour will be announced toward the end of the 2026/27 season.
