“Playing in YOSA developed my love and fascination towards the classical music world and exposed me to the joys of orchestral and ensemble playing.”

– Emily, Class of 2019

YOSA musicians experience instruction from San Antonio’s most respected professional musicians and music educators, perform in professional concert venues, build skills that transfer to future success, and make lasting friendships with their peers.

YOSA Orchestras for ages 8-20 include two full orchestras, a wind ensemble, a flute choir, and five string orchestras. Auditions take place each June.

Camp opportunities for band and orchestra take place in July. Registration for camp opens in mid-February each year.

YOSA offers free services to dozens of schools across Bexar County.
