Viola Intensive at YOSA Summer Symphony Camp is a great opportunity for teen viola players to make music together, advance their playing skills, and have lots of fun. Directed by Texas Lutheran University Director of Strings Eliza Jeffords, activities include instrumental study, master classes, viola choir, plus games and other engaging nonmusical activities. The week culminates in a final concert on Saturday, July 25. The Viola Intensive also welcomes experienced violinists who want to explore the joy of the viola for the first time!

Calling All Curious Violinists!

Have you ever been curious about the viola? Wondered how your violin skills might translate to a new instrument and sound?

This summer, violinists are invited to join Viola Intensive for a focused, one-week experience designed to help violin players explore the viola while building on the skills they already have. Viola Intensive is a fantastic opportunity to grow as a violist.

Through partnership with Terra Nova Violins, YOSA will provide every violinist with a viola to use during camp, free of charge!
