Monday through Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Saturday morning: 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with final concert at 11:00 a.m.

Composition Seminar at YOSA Summer Symphony Camp is a focused and fun week for teen musicians to advance their composition and notation skills, and hear their music played by professional performers.
Directed by Texas State University faculty composer, Michael Ippolito, activities include workshops on notation and instrumentation, master classes with guest composers, one-on-one mentoring, plus games and other engaging nonmusical activities. The week culminates in a final concert on Saturday, July 25.
Recommended Musician Level:
Ages 13-18
Campers should have a working knowledge of music notation and must bring a laptop or tablet with notation software each day.

YOSA is committed to making our activities accessible for families, regardless of financial constraints. Financial aid is based on a family’s income, household size, and other family or financial circumstances. Families can expect strict confidentiality regarding their assistance application and results. Every effort will be made to meet the needs of young musicians and their families.
The deadline for financial aid applications is May 15, 2026.

To apply for financial aid, families must complete the Financial Aid Application through their YOSA Portal account and provide one of the following forms of income documentation:
· 1040 Tax Form (Most Recent Year) Submit your IRS 1040 form. We use Line 11 to determine total income.
· H1028 Form Employment Verification Completed and signed by an employer to confirm your household income.
· Federal Assistance Award Letter A letter (physical or digital) confirming eligibility for programs such as WIC, SNAP, or similar. The letter must clearly state household income.

Camp Tuition
Until March 1, 2026: $399
After March 2, 2026: $450
There is a non-refundable deposit of $50 with the remaining tuition due June 29, 2026.Additional Services:
Boxed Lunch Add-On: $75
Includes a sandwich, chips, cookie, and a drink (Monday–Friday).Extended Care Add-On: $125
Camp runs 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Extended care is available Monday–Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
