The Next Milestone in YOSA's History
After years of dreaming and planning, Demo Day has arrived! On June 5, 2026, community leaders, supporters, alumni, families, and friends gathered to celebrate the beginning of construction on YOSA's future home at 802 Oblate Dr.
Speakers included Bexar County Judge Peter Sakai, District 8 San Antonio City Councilwoman Ivalis Meza Gonzalez, and YOSA Executive Director Jerrod Price sharing the impact this new home will have on young musicians throughout the San Antonio area.
Guests toured the building, learned more about the vision for the space, and even had the chance to pick up a sledgehammer and help kick off construction by knocking down walls in the demo room.
We can't wait to share more construction updates and milestones as YOSA's new home takes shape. Thank you for being part of this historic moment!
