This year, YOSA will honor Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff for his outstanding commitment to education and arts in San Antonio. Guests will enjoy a three-course meal, inspiring presentation, and raffle prizes.
Proceeds from this event benefit YOSA (Youth Orchestras of San Antonio) whose music education programs reach more than 2,500 local young musicians every year.

San Antonio-native and YOSA alumnus, Christine Lamprea will provide the keynote address at this year’s Standing Ovation Luncheon. Hailed a “firebrand” (IncidentLight.com) and noted for her “supreme panache” (The Boston Musical Intelligencer), 2018 Sphinx Medal of Excellence Winner Christine Lamprea is a Soloist, Chamber Musician, and Pedagogue, performing in the United States and abroad. She has performed as soloist with the Detroit Symphony, Houston Symphony, San Antonio Symphony, among others.

Rick Cavender is known to many as the voice and personality behind the Cavender Auto Family of dealerships. True, he works his day job as President of Cavender Audi and he has developed a solid reputation as a successful businessman and a caring community leader. In fact, he has been the recipient of the San Antonio Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” award and the Jaycee’s “Outstanding Young San Antonian". He served as president of the largest Rotary Club in the world and has led efforts to build playgrounds at local elementary schools., churches and public libraries. He was honored by his fellow Texas Auto dealers with the Texas Auto Association's "Key Dealer" honor in 2009. Let's just say he has a pretty good day job that keeps him plenty busy!
