YOSA’s 10th international concert tour visited the Canadian province of Québec in June 2014. This French-speaking province is full of natural beauty and rich history, continuing YOSA’s tradition of providing one-of-a-kind musical and cultural experiences for our musicians. YOSA also traveled back across the U.S. border to visit scenic Burlington, Vermont, on the shores of Lake Champlain.

June 15-17 Montréal—The second largest French-speaking city in the world (after Paris), Montréal mixes modern skyscrapers and centuries-old historic buildings on the slopes of Mont Royal, a small mountain in the center of it all. YOSA performed a concert and visited Notre Dame Basilica, Olympic Park, the Biodome, and more.
June 18-19 Québec City—The only North American walled city north of Mexico, Québec City is also the provincial capital. Its remarkable architecture and European atmosphere give it unique charm. We will play a concert and visit the historic Old City, Museum of Civilization, Québec Conservatory of Music, and more.
June 20 Sherbrooke—Seated at the confluence of the Magog and St. Francis rivers, Sherbrooke is a university town surrounded by natural beauty.
June 21-22 Burlington, Vermont (USA)—On the shores of Lake Champlain just a few hours from Québec, Burlington is Vermont’s cultural hub. In addition to cruising on Lake Champlain and visiting the Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream factory, YOSA performed a concert at the home of the Vermont Youth Orchestra, where Troy Peters was Music Director for 14 years before coming to YOSA.
