YOSA’s Operations Director Wins American Express Award

YOSA's Director of Operations and Artistic Administration Ahmad Mayes was one of seven orchestra administrators and 48 nonprofit managers chosen for the 2010 American Express Nonprofit Leadership Academy.

The American Express Nonprofit Leadership Academy is a week-long program created by American Express in partnership with the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) in June 2008. The nation-wide program develops the country's finest emerging leaders who are dedicated and poised to be at the helm of the nonprofit sector. The curriculum focuses on building the personal, business and leadership skills needed to run a successful nonprofit organization.

Congratulations to Ahmad for this recent accomplishment and thank you to American Express, which will pay for him to attend the Academy on April 26-30, 2010 in New York City.
