Peter Morales

Peter Morales, 17, is principal cellist in YOSA's Philharmonic Orchestra. He began playing cello at the age of 12 and is a junior at NISD's Clark High School. Peter has served as principal cellist of the Texas Music Educators Association Region XI Orchestra and has participated in the Texas All-State Symphony Orchestra. As a chamber musician, he has received the outstanding award in the Texas State Solo and Ensemble competition. Morales has performed in a master class with Lynn Harrell and has attended Interlochen Arts Camp and Bowdoin International Music Festival where he studied with Steven Doane and Andre Emelianoff. Morales currently studies with Ken Freudigman.
