YOSA’s Beginning Strings Students Perform During Presiding Bishop’s Visit to San Antonio

Members of YOSA's Beginning Strings performed during a special visit from Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church Katharine Jefferts Schori at the Good Samaritan Community Services on Saturday, April 25.
The Most Rev. Dr. Katharine Jefferts Schori is chief pastor to the Episcopal Church's 2.4 million members in 16 countries and 110 dioceses.
After the recital and an introduction to Gates Millennium Scholar for 2010 and graduating YOSA student, Tania Hernandez, Bishop Schori was given a tour by the GSCS Board Members. GSCS provides services to impoverished families in San Antonio and South Texas.
