YOSA Music Learning Center Gives Debut Performance

YOSA's new Music Learning Center gave their debut performance on Thursday, Dec. 10 on the Riverwalk as part of the Museum Reach River of Lights, sponsored by the San Antonio River Authority.
Over 30 MLC students performed on Dec. 10 with traditional holiday music including Jingle Bells and Silent Night.
This public event is open from Dec. 5 to Jan. 2 beginning at Lexington Avenue and ending on Josephone Street.
The Museum Reach-Urban Segment opened on May 30, 2009 and it includes a lock and dam near Brooklyn Avenue, overlooks, boat landings, walkways, stairs, accessible ramps, lighting, signage, overlooks, water features, benches, trash cans and pocket parks. As part of the San Antonio River Improvements Project, the 1.3 mile stretch of new walkways, landscaping, parks and public art along the meandering San Antonio River links several downtown historic, commercial and cultural institutions, including the San Antonio Museum of Art, The Pearl (a restored former brewery and stables) and the oldest VFW post in Texas.
