China Tour Itinerary

Day 1: June 16 Depart SAN ANTONIO

Day 2: June 17 BEIJING
We will arrive in the early evening and transfer to the hotel.

Day 3: June 18 BEIJING
Visit the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and the Summer Palace. Delicious Peking Duck evening meal.

Day 4: June 19 BEIJING -- performance at Beijing Concert Hall
Visit the Temple of Heaven, a traditional Hutong and the Olympic sites.

Day 5: June 20 BEIJING to SHANGHAI (train)
Morning coach trip to visit The Great Wall of China. Our trip to Shanghai will be via overnight train. A unique experience!

Day 6: June 21 SHANGHAI
Tour of Yu Garden and shopping destination Nanjing Road.

Day 7: June 22 SHANGHAI
Visit the Bund and the Shanghai World Expo

Day 8: June 23 SHANGHAI -- performance at Shanghai World Expo

Day 9: June 24 SHANGHAI to HANGZHOU (bus) performance
Hangzhou offers a unique look at provincial life and the beautiful West Lake.

Day 10: June 25 HANGZHOU to SHENZHEN (flight)
Often described as the gateway to Hong Kong, Shenzhen has developed into a vibrant city with many delights.

Day 11: June 26 SHENZHEN to HONG KONG (ferry) -- Joint performance with Hong Kong Youth Symphony
We will explore Hong Kong during the day before a social and interactive exploration between cultures
with a local youth orchestra in the afternoon in preparation for a joint performance.

Day 12: June 27 HONG KONG
Explore Asia's modern financial capital.

Day 13: June 28 Arrive in SAN ANTONIO
Return with many stories to share with your friends and family!
