Philharmonic Orchestra, ages 13-21
The Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Troy Peters, is YOSA’s most advanced orchestra. Designed for high school and college-age students, music performed by this orchestra is professional repertory and demands a high level of proficiency and experience from its members. The Philharmonic Orchestra serves as the flagship ensemble for the organization through its presentation of the Gold Series concerts.
Rehearsals: Sundays from 2:30-5:30 p.m. at the UTSA Main Campus (1604)

Retreat at Mo Ranch in Hunt, Texas
Side-by-side rehearsal and performance with the San Antonio Symphony
Special rehearsal at the Majestic Theatre followed by San Antonio Symphony guest artist interaction
Chamber Orchestra
Each year, select musicians from the Philharmonic Orchestra are invited to participate in the Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Troy Peters, to perform alongside members of the San Antonio Symphony. This unique opportunity allows for more in-depth work with professional musicians.
