Phyllis Malone

Phyllis Malone has been the Orchestra Director at Garner Middle School for 15 years.

She worked with the Greater Fort Worth Youth Orchestras and conducted YOSA (and predecessor) ensembles. She has made her extremely scarce time available as Vice Chair of the YOSA board's Music Program Committee last year and as Co-chair with Barbara Labatt this year. Phyllis's contributions as a deeply engaged music educator to all planning discussions regarding the Music Learning Centers initiative have been inestimable. Her communication with music professionals enables YOSA to keep a finger on the pulse of public school music educators.
