Bayla Biskin

Bayla Biskin is a recognized pianist, accompanist and teacher. In addition to her private classes, she is in demand as a teacher of music appreciation for adults both in San Antonio and at her summer home, the Chautauqua Festival.
Still, she finds time to serve on the boards of the San Antonio Chamber Music Society, San Antonio Symphony League, Youth Orchestras of San Antonio and the San Antonio International Keyboard Competition.
Mrs. Biskin was trained at the University of Texas at Austin School of Music where she studied piano with Rubinstein Award winner Greg Allen earning the Bachelor of Music Degree in Performance with high honors as well as a Master of Arts Degree in Music Literature. She took advanced studies at the Manhattan School of Music, State University of New York at Fredonia working with concert pianist Claudette Sorel and at Texas Christian University under the esteemed Lili Kraus.
