Lauren, originally from Houston, relocated to San Antonio this summer. She comes to YOSA from CHILDREN AT RISK in Houston, where she was the Development and Communications Intern and focused on special events, donor relations and database management. She also worked as an administrative assistant for the Jewish Community Center of Houston, assisting with the preschool's inaugural annual campaign.
Lauren attended the University of Arizona and the University of Houston-Downtown, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. As a youth, she played the cello and performed in various youth orchestras.
